Does Popzy work offline and without an account?

Yes. Popzy has no account and no sign-up, and it times contractions without an internet connection, so it keeps working in the car, the lift and the delivery room. Your names, due date and contraction history are stored on your phone, and Settings has a "Delete all my data" option that wipes everything.
Working offline
Timing, the rule alert, History, the breathing screen, the labor guide, the positions and the checklist all work without a connection. Buying or restoring a plan needs one, because it goes through the App Store or Google Play.
No account, no ads
During setup, Popzy asks for a few things to personalize the app, such as your first name, your baby's name or nickname, your due date and the rule your provider gave you. There is no email, no password and no account. Popzy shows no ads.
Deleting your data
Settings has two options: Delete history removes your contraction sessions, and Delete all my data wipes your profile, sessions, checklist, sound and appearance preferences and returns Popzy to the welcome screen. Uninstalling the app also removes the data stored on the phone.

Does Popzy work on the lock screen?
Yes. On iPhone a Live Activity shows the running timer on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. On Android an ongoing notification shows the timer with a start and end button.
Can I move my history to a new phone?
Popzy has no account or cloud sync, so history stays on the phone it was recorded on. Share the log as text or an image to keep a copy.

Popzy is not a medical device. It times contractions and does not replace advice from your midwife, doctor or maternity unit. If you are unsure, or if your waters break, you notice bleeding, your baby moves less or anything feels wrong, call them.
